The Best Settings for Video on your DJI Drone - feat. DJI Air 2S

Filming with a drone is in many ways can be very similar to filming with a normal camera, but the fact that it is hanging in the air, brings some subtle yet important differences.

First of all, most settings can be changed mid flight, but with the battery running out, the last thing you wanna do is going through menus and testing things out to know what works for you.

In the video I’m showing how much better it is to have everything under control, by always picking the Pro or Manual Mode. Leaving decisions for the drone, can be a recipe for disaster.

Besides that, in the camera menus you’ll find many assistants for over exposure and color, that will make your life much easier.

Codecs and resolutions are also very important to understand, to be able to get the best quality image out of your drone. On the Air 2S you’ll find the option to shoot H265 D-LogM files with 10bit color, and like this you’ll be assuring yourself to get the highest dynamic range possible besides flexibility while color grading it.

Below you’ll find two LUTs that will help you color correct your footage for DJI drones, so just sign up and you’ll receive them in your email. Thanks for watching and reading and keep creating!
